Noma Xpress LLC is committed to providing equal employment opportunities. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or any other status protected under applicable federal, state, or local law.
Customer & Shipment Confidentiality Policy
Noma Xpress is committed to protecting confidential customer, business, shipment, and delivery information. Employees and contractors are expected to access and disclose information only when necessary to perform authorized business activities and delivery services. Medical and healthcare-related information is handled according to applicable privacy requirements and company procedures.
Medical Shipment Confidentiality Policy
Information associated with medical, laboratory, pharmaceutical, and other healthcare shipments must be handled with appropriate confidentiality. Personnel are instructed to protect sensitive information contained in manifests, labels, electronic systems, delivery records, and communications and to avoid unnecessary access or disclosure.
Chain-of-Custody Policy
Noma Xpress maintains chain-of-custody procedures for shipments requiring enhanced accountability. Depending on customer and shipment requirements, documentation may include pickup and delivery times, shipment identification, authorized handoffs, signatures, tracking information, proof of delivery, temperature records, and delivery exceptions.
Temperature-Controlled Shipment Policy
Shipments requiring temperature-controlled transportation must have clearly communicated handling and temperature requirements before service begins. Noma Xpress follows applicable customer instructions for temperature-sensitive shipments and may utilize appropriate containers, monitoring equipment, documentation, and exception-reporting procedures based on the service requested. Any identified temperature excursion is reported according to applicable customer and company procedures.
Cargo Acceptance Policy
Noma Xpress reserves the right to refuse any shipment that cannot be transported safely, legally, or within our operational capabilities. Shipments must be appropriately packaged, sealed, labeled, documented, and prepared for transportation. Noma Xpress may refuse improperly packaged, leaking, damaged, unidentified, prohibited, unsafe, or inadequately documented materials.
Prohibited & Restricted Items Policy
Noma Xpress does not knowingly accept prohibited or unauthorized materials for transportation. Certain regulated, hazardous, biological, pharmaceutical, or other restricted materials may require specialized packaging, documentation, training, authorization, equipment, or procedures before they can be accepted. Acceptance of a shipment is subject to Noma Xpress's service capabilities and applicable regulations.
Damaged or Compromised Shipment Policy
Personnel must report shipments that appear damaged, leaking, improperly sealed, contaminated, compromised, or otherwise unsafe. Employees should not open, repair, repackage, or unnecessarily handle a compromised medical or sensitive shipment unless specifically trained and authorized to do so. The shipment may be isolated and the customer or appropriate contact notified for further instructions.
Incident & Accident Reporting Policy
Accidents, injuries, spills, exposures, cargo damage, vehicle incidents, security concerns, temperature excursions, lost shipments, and other significant service exceptions must be reported promptly. Noma Xpress documents and reviews applicable incidents to determine appropriate corrective actions and help prevent recurrence.
Pickup & Delivery Policy
Customers are responsible for providing accurate pickup and delivery information, including addresses, contact information, delivery windows, shipment details, special handling requirements, and access instructions. Delivery confirmation may include electronic proof of delivery, signatures, photographs where appropriate, timestamps, or other customer-required documentation.
Failed Delivery & Waiting Time Policy
When a delivery cannot be completed because the recipient is unavailable, the location is inaccessible, required information is incorrect, or another circumstance outside Noma Xpress's control prevents completion, additional waiting, redelivery, or return charges may apply. Customers will be contacted when additional instructions are required. [Note: We will add exact fee amounts later once pricing structure is finalized].
Customer Responsibility Policy
Customers are responsible for accurately describing their shipment and communicating any special transportation requirements before pickup. This includes weight, dimensions, pallet count, temperature requirements, time sensitivity, access restrictions, loading requirements, and any regulated or special-handling conditions. Failure to disclose important shipment information may result in service refusal, delays, additional charges, or cancellation.
